Hexagonal Wire Netting is woven from low carbon steel wire, galvanized wire or PVC coated galvanized wire. It is commonly used for poultry fencing, garden protection, light partition mesh, plaster support, insulation covering and stone cage work. The mesh has a hexagonal opening and can be made with straight twist or reverse twist. For outdoor use, hot dipped galvanized and PVC coated types are more common. Light rolls are easy to cut and install. Heavy type hexagonal wire netting is used where thicker wire and better shape retention are required, such as gabion baskets and slope protection.

PVC Coated Hexagonal Wire Netting 3/4″ × BWG20

Green PVC coated mesh is often used for garden and farm fencing. The galvanized wire core gives basic corrosion protection. The PVC coating helps the mesh fit outdoor surroundings and reduces direct exposure to moisture.
